How We Clean Filters
- First the filter is assigned a unique barcode so all data can be tracked throughout its life cycle. Every time that filter is cleaned we can track its performance.
- The initial weight and air resistance is measured and documented
- We use a dry clean system. It is specially designed to use computerized sequences of vibration to sonically loosen heavily encrusted debris. The filter is rotated counterclockwise and vibration is created by manipulating air flow. The air from the vibration is vacuumed out of the filter and system.
- We take this one step further and put the filter into our "touch up" booth, vacuuming every last spec of debris that we possibly can.
- The filter is then inspected in our light booth where any holes are immediately detected. Any holes will reject the filter at this point.
- The weight and resistance is taken again for the final documentation. The resistance test will determine a pass or fail at this stage.
- At this point we clean off end caps, put the filters in bags and box them for shipment.
- All information is transferred to a performance spreadsheet for your review. This spreadsheet will help you determine change out times to get the best life from your filters as well as guide you on the performance of your equipment these filters are used in.
